The historical Accueil Marie Saint-Frai celebrated its 150th anniversary in April
Welcoming the sick and those with a disability has been a tradition in Lourdes for decades.
The Accueil Marie Saint-Frai, run by the sisters of the Congregation of Notre-Dame des Douleurs, is a fine example. It celebrated its 150th anniversary in April.
To mark the occasion, a blessing ceremony on 22nd April was led by Mgr. Jean-Marc Micas, Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes in the presence of representatives of the Sanctuary and the town of Lourdes, volunteers and friends of the Sisters of the Congregation.
